The former Kinsale Marina, Annie purchased the property in 2020 and guided it through an extensive renovation inside and out. Her grandparents started the original marina here in 1956, later selling it in the 1980s. Annie uses many of their old photos in telling the story of the marina, then and now. The marina offers over 80 boat slips, rentals and sailing camps.

Taking up the second floor of a 1920 building in the heart of town, the Granary Apartment was designed by Annie’s father in 1979. In 2021 Annie updated and decorated the apartment and started renting it for short-term stays through AirBNB. The loft-style space has beautiful views of the marina and river, offering a unique stay for visitors to Kinsale and the Northern Neck. Annie handles the rentals, upkeep and marketing of the property.

The Yeocomico Club was founded by Annie in 2021 to bring people together with educational, recreational, and social events by the water while promoting waterfront access for all. The club offers activities throughout the year, as well as a seasonal bar, pool, boat launch, and tennis court for members. The Kinsale Waterfront Fund is being established to further the educational and charitable initiatives of the club.

In need of a new website to consolidate and present information in a more modern and user-friendly way, Annie created the Foundation’s updated website in 2024. Utilizing images from their great collection, the new site tells the story of the Foundation and Kinsale, while welcoming viewers to visit and support their many community events.

As a consultant for this 400 acre development between DC and Baltimore, Annie has helped develop their logo, website, branding and story. She also assists with hiring and managing other outside design consultants for the project and works on branding for the development company and other properties in their portfolio.

These community-based events are held in Kinsale by the water, with vendors selling out of the slips and music, food, wine tastings, and boat bars. Started in 2024 and expanding in 2025, they bring out the best of our NNK offerings, promoting locally made goods and connecting our creatives, purveyors and watermen with the greater community.
